The Aunt Sally season started with a home win for The Bear. Led by Jon Slade the team were undefeated, with Jon himself leading from the front with a "magnificent 7". Steve was a steadyinfluence, & chipped in with 4, and the rest of the team topped up the scoreboard occasionally.
Cumnor must have been in awe of this performance, as they were clearly unable to respond at all. Some may claim that this was due to the fact that they were still in Cumnor supporting AC Milan, but I think that's nitpicking myself.
Some excellent Ale tasting followed, and everyone agreed that The Bear was indeed Pub of the Yeay for South Oxfordshire.
